Henderson Warren A. "W.A." Henderson, age 77, beloved husband of Shirley Jones Henderson, died Saturday, July 23, 2011, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center. Mr. Henderson was born on Nov. 22, 1933, son of the late Samuel A. and Jacqueline Henderson. He was the former owner and operator of the Econo-Mart located in North Santee and in business with mobile homes with his dear friend, Ray Sandford, for more than 30 years. He loved to fish and watch western movies and was a member of the Elks Lodge No. 855. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Warren Henderson Jr. of Sumter; a daughter, Tammiann Henderson of Kingsport, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Cory Henderson and his wife, Jeannie, and Ashliann Norton, Daniel Norton, Brandy Henderson Mayes and her husband, Andrew, and Coleman Rabon; four great-grandchildren, Stormi Henderson, Courtney Henderson, Michael Henderson and William Norton. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Samuel A. Henderson Jr. and Lloyd Henderson; along with a sister, Lavinia Henderson Johnson. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Bullock Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow at Sumter Cemetery.
