GEORGE Muriel "Tootie" Frank George, age 84, beloved wife of the late James Norris George, died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center. She was born in Rice Lake, Wis., a daughter of the late William Frank Sr. and Lillian Schroder Frank. She loved crafts and sewing and was a very caring and loving mother. Surviving are two sons, Ronny Keith Sims and his wife, Michele, and Daniel W. Sims and his wife, Samantha, all of Sumter; one daughter, Cynthia Ann George of Sumter; a brother, William "Billy" Frank Jr. of Sumter; and a sister, Shirley Frank Russell of Sumter. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Valerie Frank Floyd, Irene Frank Irick and Marion Frank Formy Duval; and a brother, Carol Frank. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
