Born in Lake City, he was a son of the late John Larry Parker and Wilma Floyd Parker. Mr. Parker was the owner and operator of Parker Heating and Air Conditioning Co. Surviving are three sons, Allen Parker, Larry Parker (Robin) and Wayne Parker, all of Sumter; a daughter, Debbie Elaine Tutton (Kevin) of Sumter; a brother, Edward Parker of Sumter; a sister, Ann White of St. Charles; eight grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Floyd's Chapel in Lake City with the Rev. Jimmy Floyd officiating. Burial will be in Floyd's Chapel Cemetery in Barrineau.
