- From Obituary: The funeral for Mrs. Winifred Irene Kimble, 91, Solomon will be at 2 P.M. Monday at the Carlson Funeral Home, Solomon, the rev. Charles Farmer, officiating. Burial will be in Prarie Mound Cemetery, Solomon.
Mrs. Kimble died Thursday at the Abilene Memorial Hospital. She was born October 4, 1888, at Falun. She lived in Solomon since 1939, moving here from Bennington. Mrs. Kimble was a member of the Falun Baptist Church, the E>H>U> and the Methodist Church Circle, both of Solomon.
Surviving are her husband James, of the home; two sons Chester and Ivan, both of Ellinwood; three daughters Mrs. Neva T. Zimmerman, Marquette; Mrs. Atdith L. Koelling, Abilene, and Mrs. Avis V. Wann, McPherson; two sisters Mrs. Laura Morsbach, Lyons and Mrs. Lizzie Morsbach, Neligh, Nebraska; ten Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
