  Henry was 13 years old when he came to America. Following their marriage they began farming near Scribner and in 1908 they moved to their present farm. They celebrated their golden wedding anniverary in 1952. Article says- “This was followed by a program in honor of the couple given by their grandchildren, Darrel Lahmann and Mrs. Dale Heitshusen, Ione James and Judith Haselmann.” I didn’t have Ione or Judith listed as grandchildren so I added them. jkh [1, 2, 8]
