Posted Saturday, January 11, 2020 6:00 am Philip T. Weatherly Sr., 85, husband of Agnes "Mickey" McKenzie Weatherly, died on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2020, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital. Born in Sumter, he was a son of the late Eddie C. and Rosa B. Smith Weatherly. Mr. Weatherly was a member of Fraser Memorial Presbyterian Church, where he served as an elder. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired from Pipeline Supply. Surviving are his wife of Sumter; one son, Philip Thomas Weatherly Jr. (Vicki) of Little River; three daughters, Phyllis Dixon of Sumter, Cindy Rogers (Robert) of Martinez, Georgia, and Stacey Mathis (Wayne) of Manning; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Weatherly. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Chuck Staggs officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
