| Text | Archibald Broun and Mary Deas Broun also had a daughter named Anna Caroline Broun. She married Thomas Lesesne in 1804. Their known children were: Thomas, Mary Deas, Henry Deas, Daniel Somers, and Anna Caroline. I have 300 years of history on the Lesesne family. Brig. Gen. Richard Richardson- You have him listed as born in Virginia; my source says born near Jamestown, VA. I have conflicting sources on where he died. One says at his residence, another says he actually died near Salisbury, NC. He was married in Prince Frederick Parish, SC on 11 oct. 1736 per the parish register. Mary Cantey was born in 1722 in SC. She is listed in the Cantey family Bible as Elizabeth Cantey. I think I know who her mother was but have not been able to confirm it. I have 12 children listed for Brg. Gen. Richard Richardson- 8 by first wife, 4 by second. Some of the 7 you have attributed to Mary Cantey appear to have been children of the second marriage. We have a real difference of opinion about who the children married. Maybe they all had multiple marriages & you found one while I found another. Who knows what the problem is. | |
